Dr. Randy B. Gould
Dr. Randy B. Gould obtained his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from Nova Southeastern University. He then completed a rotating internship at Good Samaritan Hospital, and an internal medicine internship and residency at Saint Vincent’s Hospital and Medical Center. Dr. Gould completed a cardiovascular medicine fellowship at Saint Vincent Catholic Medical Centers of New York.

Dr. Kazdan’s practice also includes a Board Certified Gastroenterologist. We understand that G.I. problems can be embarrassing. Our Gastroenterologist is empathetic and will explain testing procedures step-by-step. Once he makes a diagnosis, he will go over your treatment plan in a compassionate manner. Our Gastroenterologist treats severe or recurring abdominal pain an all-encompassing medical term for my stomach hurts. Fortunately, most causes of gut pain aren’t serious and resolve themselves.
However, in instances of irritable bowel, ulcerative colitis, Crohn’s disease or colon cancer, medical intervention is necessary. Rectal Bleeding is always scary. Conventional causes of anal bleeding are anal fissures or hemorrhoids. Conditions such as colitis, inflammatory bowel disease or polyps in the colon also cause rectal bleeding. However, pre-cancerous lesions or colon cancer can also cause anal bleeding. It’s always best to get tested for the origin of bleeding. Our Gastroenterologist will perform a rectal exam to check for hemorrhoids and if needed, a colonoscopy will be ordered. Other GI conditions that may require a Gastroenterologist are: swallowing problems, reflux, gallstones and/or gallbladder surgery, etc.
ABOUT THE GASTROENTEROLOGIST
Brian S Dooreck, MD
Dr. Dooreck completed his undergraduate degree at SUNY Stony Brook. He joined the Harvard School of Public Health before earning his medical degree from the Sackler School of Medicine at Tel Aviv University. He returned to New York City where he completed his Internal Medicine Residency and year as Chief Resident at St. Luke’s-Roosevelt Hospital, a Columbia University teaching hospital where he initiated a Colorectal Cancer Screening Program.
Dr. Dooreck received clinical training in Gastroenterology and Hepatology at the University of Miami/Jackson Memorial Hospital and distinguished Center for Liver Diseases; named by US News as one of America’s Best Hospitals for Digestive Disorders. Dr. Dooreck joined Gastrointestinal Diagnostic Centers and the Memorial Healthcare System in 2005 and is an appointed active member of the Medical Staff Credentialing Committee for the entire Memorial Healthcare System and is the Former Chief of the Division of Gastroenterology at Memorial Regional Hospital South. Dr. Dooreck was a consultant for development of the Memorial Healthcare System’s Digestive Care Program.
Dr. Dooreck is committed to preventative medicine and education on Colorectal Cancer Screening and created the Memorial Colorectal Cancer Corporate Outreach Program speaking to many of South Florida leading corporations including; Johnson&Johnson/Cordis, Princess Cruises, State Farm, HEICO, Broward County School Board, Craig Zinn Automotive Group, among others.
