Dr. Kathleen Kazdan DNP, FNP-BC

Dr. Kathleen Kazdan, DNP, FNP-BC, is a Board-Certified Family Nurse Practitioner who has been in practice for over 20 years, caring for children, adults, and older adults in the Weston/Davie areas. She has enjoyed working with her husband Todd for the past 10 years.

She loves working as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse and treats each patient as a unique individual using a holistic, culturally sensitive, caring approach to improve overall health. Kathleen also teaches as an adjunct faculty member at the Christine E. Lynn College of Nursing at Florida Atlantic University. She is a preceptor for nurse practitioner students in the clinical setting for several local universities.

Kathleen has a special interest in weight control and is a member of the Obesity Medicine Association. She has developed Doctor K’s Weight Control Inc. (Drksweightcontrol.com), an office/online research-based weight control program for long-term weight loss that improves overall health: mind, body, and spirit.

Kathleen loves spending her free time with her husband, Todd (who continues to make her smile/laugh everyday), their boys and daughter-in-law who all enjoy sports and traveling together. Tennis, swimming, skiing, hiking, shelling, and pickle ball with friends and family are all favorites!
